Gavin of Revesby is the Abbot of Revesby, near Lincolnshire, and the Archdeacon of that Diocese. An 
influential Cistercian and figure within the Scholastic movement, rumour has it that he comes to Godstow 
Abbey seeking rare manuscripts.
