Extensive facial scarring. Severe damage to left leg and total loss of movement in left arm. Blade appears to have pierced lungs, thus unbalancing the body’s natural humours; breathing slow and difficult. Attempts at thaumaturgical healing of blade unsuccessful, and indeed nearly fatal, indicating that the damage was done with a magical weapon of some description. Regret that Mr. Summerfield’s condition is beyond our ability to heal.

Nicholas was once a rather dashing, if superficial man from the south of England, renowned for his fighting skill. He went off to Spain in 1186 and, after a run-in with a Fae, came back considerably less pretty, and considerably more angry. Nobody’s quite sure what he’s been doing over the past year, but he’s been seen engaged in shady business for the Mercantile Guild, and was supposedly seen in Nottingham not long ago.
